[Studying abroad] NGUYEN MINH HOA

Department of International Studis and Bussiness

NGUYEN MINH HOA
(Home town:Hanoi Vietnam)

20111115international-student1.gifThe Vietnamese are very skilful, diligent and hardworking so many companies focus on Vietnam for business. Mr. Nguyen grew up in Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam. He enrolled in "Vietnam National Economics University" but quit the university when he decided to go to Japan at the age of 24.
He chose to enroll in Kyushu International University because he could gain a vast knowledge of international relations and was attracted to its great education system for improving student ability. Furthermore, Kitakyushu is more comfortable to live in than than Tokyo or Osaka. In Kitakyushu, he can learn comparatively standard Japanese.
Mr. Nguyen took Professor Kato's class: "Introduction to International Relations Seminar". Mr. Nguyen studied "preventive diplomacy" in Prof. Kato's seminar, which is learning how to prevent the spread of international conflicts, understanding international relations and discussing how to promote world peace with Japanese classmates. For this reason, Mr. Nguyen could gain much knowledge and learn a different way of thinking. It also made him reconsider what he should do next.
Finally, Mr. Nguyen told me his future goals. "In the future, Asia will become the center of global trade. I think Vietnam's economy will grow very quickly too. So, I will return to Vietnam after graduation and I am planning to establish a business consulting company that will bring Japan and Vietnam closer together."
